I have been having some trouble getting in to post. But hopefully the problem is fixed.
Alysia and I arrived back in Moncton on Sunday night. Jeff was at the airport to welcome us home. It is so nice to be home. I really enjoyed my vacation and my family, but it's nice to be back in my own home and my own bed. Alysia likes to be home, but she still keeps trying to sleep with me :).
This past week as been a quiet week. Alysia and I got some late Christmas and birthday gifts from Jo-Anne (my mom in law).
Alysia will be starting a preschool program next Wednesday. She is really looking forward to it. Keeps counting down the days till she can go. I will be starting up my Avon business again.
In all this I still feel that I have not done the most important part and that is to focus on prayer and my bible reading. My sister in law left me a book I had been wanting to read (last in a series), so you can see where I spent the last few days.
Take care everyone and may God bless you all.

Back in Canada
After a long day of traveling I arrived safely back to Canada yesterday at 10:20pm. Unluckily the airline left behind or lost one of my luggage pieces. They said the next flight is not coming till Friday night. Good thing I'm here till Sunday night.
Alysia did very well yesterday. She was good enough to sleep all 5 hours on our flight from El Salvador to Toronto. We were at the airport by 6am yesterday. We had to stop in Costa Rica for 4 hours and in El Salvador for 1 hour. But all in all a good day.
I now have an msn space (www.martarobichaud.spaces.live.com) for those of you who want to check it out. It's available for all to see. It's more to see pictures. I still have my website, but my msn space will be like my photo album for more recent pictures since it's easier to upload. In the future when you go to my page on my website (jeffandmarta.com) , you will find a link to this blog and also a link to my msn space (for pictures).
I will be here in Toronto till Sunday, enjoying visiting with friends and family.
Take care and God bless each of you.
P.S. to Zaak: I will post the picture but not till I get home to Moncton (sorry).

Back in Managua
I guess I was t lazy to post much while I was in Puerto Cabezas :). We celebrated my cousins 18Th birthday party on the 24. Celebrated X-mas with family on the 25. Went swimming to Tuapi on the 26. Celebrated my birthday on the 27. Celebrate Alysia´s birthday on the 31 (her birthday is on the 30). Did nothing the rest of the days but hang out. We came back on the 2nd of January. My parents went to Puerto by car and came back by car. My sisters and and aunt went with them. Jeff, Alysia and I took the plane.
I have to say that I get motion sick very easily ever since I had Alysia. The plane is a small plane compered to the planes I usually fly. 2 propellers. I did not enjoy my flight to Puerto and back. I enjoyed visiting with family, but I have to repeat that I could not live in Nicaragua. It is way to hot for me (some parts are cooler, but not enough to tempt me). I would have to have a house with air conditioning, a big water tank, it´s own generator and no way for mosquitoes to get in. I also forgot a maid :) , to clean all the dust.
Jeff says that I could never run away to Nicaragua if I left him (joke) since Alysia and I get very grumpy in the heat.
Jeff bought some firecracker and fireworks. We have video of when we set them off. They were nice and loud and very pretty. We set some off on Christmas and some on new years.
We have been back in Managua since Tuesday. We went to see the movie Casino royal with my sister Elena and my aunt on Tuesday night. Elena left on Wednesday. The poor girl was inside the airport, we had already left, when she tripped on the escalator and cut herself. The airport doctor wanted to take her to the hospital to put in some stitches, but she said no. She left for Toronto without taking any pain killers and did not tell us about any of this till the next day!!!.
Jeff and I got to see our first Volcano in Nicaragua on Wednesday. I have seen one in Costa Rica before. We also went to Granada province and took a boat tour around some of the small islands on lake Nicaragua. We still plan to go to Ometepe Island, a big island on Lake Nicaragua. It has 2 volcanoes on it. We also hope to get in a game of golf and watch another movie.
All in all we have kept ourselves busy. During this time I have also been sending up a lot of prayer petitions to God to care for my family. It´s so easy to forget God when everything seems to be going well.
Jeff will be leaving next Wednesday back to Canada. I leave a week after for Toronto. I have enjoyed my trip, but like Jeff said 2 months is starting to seem very long. I long to be in my own home and my own bed. Alysia especially has been missing home. But being here has been good for her. Her Spanish is a lot better now and she got to meet a lot my family.
Take care everyone and may God bless you all.
